Photographer, professor, lecturer and activist, Ellen Land-Weber's career in photography has been varied and influential. Her creative endeavors include experiments with collages and montages, Polaroid film and early color copiers, microscopy, and imaginative combined images. As a member of Water in the West, a collective of twelve photographers concerned about water resources, she created a unique portfolio of images eerily suggestive of future global warming effects. Land-Weber has exhibited and lectured widely and is Professor Emerita at Humboldt State University. |
