Kate Jordahl's black and white landscapes and wilderness studies are in the well-established tradition of the West Coast photographers. Her exploration of untrammeled places has taken her to Alaska, Australia and New Zealand. She is professor of Photography and Digital Imaging at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, California, and has led photography groups to Italy, France and Japan as well as around the U.S.
