Chris Gower is a filmmaker and photographer, originally from Seattle and presently based in New York City. Chris's work, in both of these media, focuses on social issues: He is the author of the coffee table photography book, A better Life: 100 Atheists Speak Out on Joy & Meaning in a World Without God, with portraits of celebrated philosophers and scientists like Richard Dawkins, Steven Pinker and Penn & Teller. He has collaborated with artists and directors on theatre and film projects, in both the U.S. and Canada. Chris is recent recipient of the Kodak Award for Excellence in Filmmaking.
