Began photographing in 1954, age 17, using my family’s Brownie Box Camera.
Began more serious photography in 1987 when I enrolled at Fresno City
College and took Photo 10, Beginning Black and White Photography,
taught by Steve Dzerigian, a well known Fresno photographer. Took
every photo class available, one class per semester at night
school.
Entered many photos in the Big Fresno Fair Photo Exhibit, winning
several Best of Show awards and many other awards. Have been
member of Spectrum Gallery in Fresno for 34 years, serving on the Board
in many positions including president.
Enjoy alternative photographing and straight forward digital imaging.
Stopped using gelatin silver, traditional photography after the first “good” digital cameras came out.
