I’ve always struggled with Ansel Adam’s comment:  “There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.” 
Making a great photograph for me has become less about its perfect construction and much more about two things: The dialogue that exists between a place and the things found there. And even more intimately, capturing that spiritual awareness we all share with living things, trees in particular.  We are all living moments in an infinite space of time.  We begin.  We end.  But life continues as a manifestation of that spiritual awareness.
