Linda Devenow was born in Detroit, Michigan and fell in love with the
look and feel of the forests and lakes of the upper part of the Lower
Peninsula. She moved to Los Angeles after college graduation and
started her career in the Entertainment Industry.
Her passion for photography lead to her being hired as the exclusive
photographer for all Walt Disney TV Animation employee events. From
there she expanded her business to include family portraiture and
professional head shots.
She moved to Eugene, Oregon in 2002, which was reminiscent of the spiritually of Michigan’s terrain.
Her portfolio covers landscape, portraiture, and nature images. In
2018, she started experimenting with black and white infrared
photography and became obsessed with capturing the scene with her
infrared converted digital camera. Initially, she worked at refining
technical skills, and post-processing effects. Her latest focus is
catching the emotion of the scene, and eliciting color from the
infrared images.
