Peter de Lory received his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from the University of Colorado. He has taught photography at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, San Jose State University, and the University of New Mexico and has been the recipient a National Endowment for the Art Photography Fellowship. He has had numerous one person exhibits over the past 40 years. In 1999 he completed a photo residency at the Seattle Public Utilities / Seattle Arts Commission and Sound Transit 2000-2009.
