Walt is a member of the old school of the sixties and learned his photography from the likes of Bernie Freemesser, Brett Weston and Gene Smith. Lately he has embraced digital completely and enjoys wildlife photography doing an occasional landscape and portrait. He studied photography at the U of O and has attended workshops with John Shaw and Moose Peterson. He made a living running a camera store until it was obvious the small business could not compete with the big boxes and the internet. He currently practices as a pediatric RN which gives him time to indulge his passion. He's looking forward to having his images printed on the new metal process. |
