Rich Bergeman has been an exhibiting fine art photographer since the late 1980s, and over the years has transitioned from large-format platinum printing to digital, with a little dabbling in SX-70, pinhole and infrared along the way. His primary focus is on finding and photographing disappearing places throughout the Pacific Northwest. The print and accompanying book offered in this auction are from his current project, "The Vanishing West." He will be exhibiting at the Lincoln City Cultural Center in November, Dot Dotson's in January and Salem's Bush Barn in May.
