My recent work draws heavily from my work as a geologist, an appreciative conservator of things natural, and as a long-term artist working in color photography. The images represent the initial steps of exploration of a multi-year project. The intent is to bring important visual background knowledge to the Secesh Needles Wilderness proposal. It is my hope that these images will allow individuals, who otherwise would not be able to experience the profound beauty and value of these wild and roadless areas, to share in this experience.
