Woman Holding Beloved, n.d.
giclee print of original painted photograph
image 7 x 10
Many Northwest artists are familiar with the painted photographs of Eugene artist Annette Gurdjian (pronounced: rhymes with Virgin). Annette uses oil paint on her hand printed black and white photographs, alternately applying and wiping away the paint to create a new narrative.
Her paintings are in many private collections, and in UNESCO's "Legacy of Absence". This piece entitled Woman Holding Beloved is a giclee print from an original painted photograph. It is printed on archival paper. Annette Gurdjian web site |
