Dennis Galloway
Donovan Harding, Monitor, Oregon, 2015
archival inkjet print
In a lifetime of photography, Dennis Galloway has pursued a wide variety of subjects and interests. His large color panoramas, like the one exhibited here, are created by digitally connecting a series of separate images. His ongoing portfolio of the Northwest’s grain elevators, framed against the landscape and elegantly presented in toned black and white, document a unique piece of the region’s architecture and history. Originally from San Francisco, Galloway left medical school as a young man to work as a photojournalist and currently resides in Salem, Oregon.
