Herman Krieger worked as a photo lab technician in the 1940s. He received a BFA from the University of Oregon in 1994. He has exhibited often at the PhotoZone Gallery and at other venues in Eugene and has exhibited in juried shows at the Houston Center of Photography. Herman took part in photo exhibitions juried by Eliot Erwitt that appeared at the Grand Central Station in New York, in London, and in Melbourne. He has been interviewed and had his work shown twice on the OPB program, "Oregon Art Beat".
