I retired from a career in science
to pursue photography. My many years of studying and watching birds
took its natural course in photographing them. Photographic interests
led to workshops emphasizing landscapes. Digital camera systems made it
easier to do both wildlife and landscape photography. Currently, I am
currently using a Nikon D850 and a 200-500mm lens with a vibration
stabilizer that allows a handheld camera or a monopod. For landscapes
and studio work I shoot with a Sony NEX-7. My latest interest combines
images by photoshop into montages of my imagination.
I have exhibited my photographs at Glazer’s Camera Store in Seattle,
WA., Stacya Silverman’s Gallery in Seattle, WA.,Wallspace Gallery in
California, Redstone Gallery in Colorado, MIVAL Gallery on Mercer
Island, and in other Mercer Island venues.
