Horizontal Falls, Clear Creek Side Canyons As spectacular as rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon can be, for me, the access it provides to the side canyons is the real bonus of such an adventure. Two walking and two boating trips to the Canyon have provided little overlap in what I've seen; talking to those who have done eighty trips reveals that one can still not see it all. These photos are from the side canyons of the Grand Canyon, and reflect the relatively hidden face of the River, where size and scale are complemented with mystical light, and around every corner one finds wonder and astonishment.
