Rebecca Zeiss teaches photography at the University of Michigan-Flint. She specializes in alternative process printmaking such as platinum/palladium and cyanotype, and frequently employs large-format film cameras. Her gallery exhibits often depict close-ups of people, objects and constructions surrealistically arranged to engage and challenge the viewer. Zeiss received her MFA in photography from Central Michigan University. Her work is shown internationally and has won numerous awards.
