Jonne still is passionate about
photographing landscapes, but often finds the details in plants just as
interesting. “Perplexed,” a selenium toned silver print, was
printed in her darkroom five years before her work went digital. Her
work is currently being shown in Klamath Falls at the Klamath Art
Gallery, and at other locations in Klamath County. In the past four
years, her landscape photography has appeared five times as double-page
centerfolds in Range Magazine publications. Her photographs of wild
mustangs appeared Western Horseman magazine last year.
Jonne has a Master's degree in Art Education from the University of
Oregon with an emphasis on photographic education. She retired after 32
years of teaching photography in Oregon high schools. She was a
founding member of the PhotoZone Gallery and has served on the Board of
Directors for PAO Gallery in Eugene, Oregon. She is retired again in
May 2021 from the board of directors at the Klamath Art Gallery, and is
now devoting more time to her art and photography.
