Sandy Lane

Sandy Lane is an interdisciplinary artist, exploring both traditional and experimental media as well as two and three-dimensional works and installation.

She serves as Associate Professor and Drawing Coordinator at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She received her BFA in 1995 from the University of Colorado at Boulder and continued her education, graduating in 1998 with her MFA, also from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Lane has been teaching studio art courses in Higher Education since 1999.

She was a member of Edge Gallery, an artist run co-operative from 1996 - 2012. Currently, she is a member of Ice Cube gallery, also a co-operative art gallery in the art district referred to as RINO within the Denver community where she serves as New Membership Coordinator for the gallery. She has exhibited nationally as well as internationally.
