Paul Neevel

An exhibiting photographer since the early 1960s in Madison, Wisconsin, Paul Neevel came to Eugene in 1970 to study with Bernie Freemesser at the University of Oregon, where he earned degrees in journalism and fine arts. He has shown work locally at the Jacobs Gallery, Maude Kerns Art Center, UO Museum of Art, Robert Canaga Gallery, and Opus 6ix, and in Corvallis, Portland, Carmel, Saskatoon, and Rochester. He has been a member of the Photography at Oregon Committee since the mid-1970s, and installed the monthly exhibits in the Photography at Oregon Gallery at the UO Musem of Art for more than a decade.

More recently, he has maintained the Photography at Oregon web site for more than a decade.
