The Circle of Life series continues Geir Jordahl's interest in seeing more. From his panoramic vision, both vertical and horizontal, Geir now take the challenge of hemispherical photography using extreme wide-angle lenses to bring us new worlds and new ways of seeing. Geir Jordahl's books include San Joaquin: River of Spirit, Traveler, and Searching for True North, which has won numerous awards including Gold Medal/Best of Show in the PubWest Book Competition and Silver Medals in the Prix de Paris and the Independent Publishers Book Awards. He has exhibited at major galleries and museums throughout the world. Permanent Collections include Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris; Santa Barbara Museum of Art; University of Texas; and Yosemite Museum. He is director of PhotoCentral, a nonprofit photographic educational facility in Hayward, California. His work is represented by Modernbook Gallery, San Francisco.
