| Dave McIntire is an Emeritus Professor at Oregon State University. His research interests included projects at the OSU Marine Science Center, Netarts Bay, and the Columbia River Estuary. After retirement from teaching in 1995, Dave expanded his interest in landscape photography and made numerous trips to the Oregon coast and to the national parks in the western United States. This image is a manifestation of Dave's research experiences and emotional connection to the coastal landscapes and communities of Oregon. |
