| Richard Colburn is Professor of Art in the Photography program of the Department of Art at the University of Northern Iowa. He received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
The subject of his photographic work continues to be the social and physical landscape of the Midwest region. His photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are in a number of public and private collections. He has been the recipient of awards from the Iowa Arts Council, the University Northern Iowa, the Des Moines Art Center, and the Davenport Museum of Art, among others. Richard Colburn web site |
