"I am mostly preoccupied with the melancholy of the
vanished past," says Rich Bergeman, who makes
platinum/palladium prints from his large format (8x10 and
5x7) negatives. His photographs have been exhibited around
the Northwest since 1987. He is represented by Pegasus
Gallery in Corvallis and Earthworks Gallery in Yachats and
Lincoln City. Bergeman teaches journalism and photography at
Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon.
